Dad had his surgery today. He wound up having a quintuple bypass. The surgery was a success. He went into surgery with a balloon thing in his leg which is helping his heart beat. Still, he still has it in place. He will remain sedated until they remove it so that he doesn’t move and cause issues with it. He also went into surgery with a pace maker; it’s still there for now. There’s a chance that he may have to have a pace maker permanently.
In the end, he’s had his surgery. He’s doing well, and I’m going to see him again tomorrow.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, and keeping up with his story. It means more to me than you will ever know.
